Research Goals and Strategies

Draft Research Portfolio Plan and Goals 2012-2016

A “Research Portfolio Plan and Goals 2012-2016” document has been drafted to guide activities during Lorne Babiuk’s second term as Vice-President (Research), which begins on 1 July. The plan is designed to complement the initiatives contained in Dare to Deliver: Academic Plan 2011-2015 and Dare to Discover, and to support the many activities underway in the faculties.

The consultation on the draft “Research Portfolio Plan and Goals 2012-2016” document is being led in the faculties by the Associate Deans (Research), as well as by the heads of the administrative units that report to the Vice-President (Research) Office. We encourage you to offer your feedback through participation in either of these processes; if you would like to send comments directly to the Vice-President, please email them to: vpresearch@ualberta.ca. We are particularly interested in knowing if you feel there are major initiatives missing in the document.
